'While traveling by jeep in remote corners of Rajastan, I met up with some ethnic tribal women with flowing skirts,
silver bangles on their arms and rings on their toes. They gathered around me – smiling and talking excitedly, touching my
own silver bangles up and down my arms. I asked my Indian friend, Raji, “What are they saying?” She interpreted,
“This woman with white skin, where is she from? She dresses like us. She’s our sister.” I told myself as I stood there basking
in their excited approval, I have just received the blessing of the most colorful women in the world. It’s enough!' -Tabra
